How the integration works
Secure API Connection
Connect using OAuth 2.0 with your Veeva Vault credentials. BioWise uses read-only access by default, with optional write-back for specific workflows.
Configure Object Mapping
Map your Vault document types and custom fields to BioWise ontology types. We provide pre-built mappings for standard Vault configurations.
Initial Sync
BioWise performs an initial full sync of selected objects. Document content remains in Vault; only metadata is indexed in BioWise.
Continuous Sync
Incremental sync runs on a configurable schedule (typically every 5-15 minutes). Webhooks available for real-time updates on critical objects.
